What makes me qualified to help you?
I’ve always gravitated to digital research and technology. Thanks to my dad, I grew up in a small family business, repairing computers and helping my community understand their IT. Those skills translated into my research into family history. With my sister, I’ve greatly expanded on family lore and documents, tracing some family lines back to the 17th century. I’ve become adept at combining that information in family tree software and using genealogy resources of all kinds. Thanks to my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, I understand the importance of citing my research and documentation. My time working for large corporations taught me how to present those results and create graphics for printing and sharing.
